The vast majority have obviously been done at the last minute, and are simply an activity statement.

They’ve been unremarkable, frequently hard to read and have not helped candidates to stand out.

A well crafted CV will provide invaluable support to an application, or as part of a follow-up to a conversation with someone in your network.

They are absolutely worth investing time in.

But let’s be realistic. Nobody enjoys working on their CV.
