
How to have more days off work
Want more time off work but feel overwhelmed about how to make it happen?
My trip to the Himalayas required so much planning.
I’m known for being agile in the now, which means I’m not a natural planner.
Figuring out how the business would run without me for a month felt uncomfortable but was essential.
Here are the top 3 things I did to navigate this:
- I hired two excellent program alumni who are now excellent coaches to run the group coaching calls whilst I was away.
- We set up an SOP for the tech and group call agenda
- My husband and I created a FAQ library of short videos to support clients whilst I was away. This felt like a big project but only took 2 days to complete and my clients LOVE them.
I had to change my mindset from: overwhelm and inaction (too much to organise) to: curiosity and small steps: I started 3 months out to break tasks down and schedule them
I also had to let go of being in control and in charge of delivery to clients and embrace letting go, choosing trustworthy people and actually trusting them.
